At Central, we recognize the power of the arts in worship. Throughout history, the arts have played an important part in communicating the beauty of our Creator to and through his people. The Arts also allow God’s people to express their love, devotion and thankfulness to Him in a way that words fall short. Whether it’s painting, set design, drama, music or technical arts, they all are used at Central as different ways to respond to God for who He is and what He has done! We invite you to come and be a part of these ministries.

Celebration Choir

The central celebration choir is an exciting place to serve and love and worship jesus!

The choir leads worship in the early morning traditional service as well as singing weekly specials in both traditional and contemporary services! We also work in co-operation with the other arts ministries to present seasonal worship presentations. You need not be an accomplished musician to join the Central Celebration choir, all you have to do is show up!

The CCC meets for practice on wednesday nights at 8:00 p.m. and sundays at 5:00 p.m. (during seasonal productions only)

Praise Team

The central praise team is another great way to express the beauty of the lord through music!

Since january of 2007, the central praise team has led worship in our 11 a.m. contemporary service. We take great care to study on a deeper level what it means to worship and how we as worship leaders are called to live lives of worship on and off the platform.

The Praise team meets for practice at 6:30 p.m. on thursday evenings

Tech & Visual Arts

The technical side of worship leading is just as, if not more, important that those leading from the platform

At central, We understand that the musicians are only as good as the sound technicians allow them to be. Because of that we have a sound and tech ministry that strives to reflect the glory of a limitless creator through their craft.

No Previous experience needed, we will offer you on site training.

Creative Worship Team (Drama, Video, Media)

Central creative worship team is a minstry enacting the Word and communicating the gospel to real people in real life situations using mixed media, music and live drama.
